I am having 40 people for corned beef, potatoes , carrots and cabbage for st patty day dinner on sunday..... how much corned beef do i need....and is the slow cooker the best choice...... help

20 pounds raw will not leave much left over, it shrinks seriously. Slow cookers or oven simmer is a great method.
