Is the Kenmore SS aluminum encased 14pc cookware safe for the Kenmore ceramic stove top? I'm concerned about scratches and marks on the stove top.

Aluminum tends to discolor the top more than stainless steel, in general. All will scratch if you turn or slide them. I don't know this specific set.
