Seasoning for vegies

I am cooking a frozen medley of vegies (broccoli, cauliflower carrots) in salt water for 125 people. What do you suggest I use as seasoning.Is melted butter enough. Also, do you have a recipe for a cake that is a heavy texture (like pound cake)that can be baked as sheet cakes suitable for strawberry shortcake.

Hi, Gail,

These are best steamed, and butter alone is fine, a little lemon would be a good addition, and you can add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning if you wish. The cake is discussed on the other question you posted.
