Cooking and freezing chicken

I am planning on cooking Orange Dijon Chicken in Wine for my daughter's wedding. I am a little confused over the recipe. I am making it a 1 1/2 weeks early. The recipe says to brown the chicken and then freeze. Does this mean I am freezing half cooked chicken, or does it mean to brown the chicken until it is cooked thru. Any help would be great. Thank you

It is just cooked through, not raw in the middle, but NOT dry, either, as it cooks further later.
