Hi, I'm looking for a simple recipe for prune puree. I do a lot of low fat cooking and this is supposed to be really good as a substitute for fat in baking. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. |

Combine 1-1/3 cups (8 oz.) pitted prunes and 6 tablespoons water in container of food processor.
You can also add 2 tablespoons lecithin granules. To replace 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, start with 1/3 cup prune puree. If not moist enough, add more puree up to 1 to 1. |
