what is the purpose of the vinegar in the color dye when dying Easter eggs? Does too much or too little affect the results? |

Eggs have natural coatings, and some have added ones. The vinegar helps to clean the egg surface so the color goes on evenly. Too much doesn't hurt anything, and too little just fails to punch up the color. Happy Easter. |
