05/09/02 		As I can not eat chocolate, I am always on the lookout for carob baking materials. candies(carob malted balls or pretzels), cookies, etc. If anyone has any ideas of any locations in the Maryland area.

Hope our readers can help. I personally believe that chocolate is one of the seven essential foods, and avoiding it when I don't know if it is safely harvested/ fair traded is a real sacrifice.
Don't forget the great online/ mail order resources, such as King Arthur baking company.

11/09/03 		I don;t know Fullerton, but remember you can get carob syrup at your health food store or natural grocery and flavor it yourself.
