Ellen, Thanx for the protein bar recipe. Can I ask if you have another one that reduces the carbs to less than 7 grams? I have found very few in the market that are high in protein and low in carbs (other than a product called AdvantEdge). Is there a way to modify your recipe so that I can make them myself and save some moolaalaaa? Sandy |

Well, there are always hard boiled eggs... Seriously, Sandy, short of adding so much whey protein powder that the result resembles baked glue, I have not figured out how to achieve a palatable result in a bar with this low level of carbs. If you are using them as a meal substitute, you may have better luck with some other foods. This is a regular request, so I will keep working on it, but it is a tuffy- Ellen |
