170 chicken drummettes equals how many pounds

10/07/08 		I am catering my brother-in-laws birthday party of about 85 people. My problem is all of my chicken drummette recipes go by pieces not pounds. Could someone help me solve this dilemma?

10/07/08 		You posted twice. About 12 pieces per pound, depending on the chickens, and you need about 6 pieces per person- 4 minimum if there are other meats.

04/16/10 		I recently baked 80 pounds of drummies/wings (40 one day, 40 the next). I kept track of each pan. I ended up with approximately 600 pieces, which equates to 7.5 pieces per pound. "Drummies" must be the small variety.
