11/11/08 		You want 5-6 ounces ready to eat, which is about 7 ounces heat and eat or 8 ounces if it needs cooking.

11/26/08 		Debbie, there is a turkey yield table article in the holiday cooking section at the top of big pots, Go there and you can easily decide how much you need to cook or buy. You want to allow 6 ounces cooked for little left over, or 8 ounces cooked for plenty/ big eaters.
