I'm putting together a Valentine's dinner at our church this weekend. After reading your Chocolate Fountain Page, I decided against using my fountain. I am going to dip the strawberries and put on short skewers (4-5 each). My question is, if I peel bananas and cut them in half, put on skewers and dip them in chocolate, will they taste good or will they be mushy? I will dip them the day before the dinner. Also, how do I store them after they're dipped and dry? Thank you so much, and your site is GREAT. It has helped so much. God Bless, PJ |

Use slightly green bananas- still firm They must be COMPLETELY coated- no space such as is left on strawberries. I would put t he toothpick in and use it to dip. Like the strawberries, they must be held at cool room temp. Consider a chafing dish of chocoalte fondue. Equally tasty and a lot less work. |
