How many meats and veg would feed 30 people? I thought roughly 2 meats and 3 veg. This is for funeral meals and doesn't have to be precise. Just need a general guide. Any other good websites on estimating food quantities?

2 meats and three veggies is a very appropriate guideline for this type meal, as long as one of the side dishes can also serve as a vegetarian entree (mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, meatless quiche, etc). For amounts, 1 piece of chicken plus 4 ounces of the ready to eat second entree per person. About 1/2 cup or a bit more each salad or veg up to 4 for the side dishes.
