I'm cooking for a family reunion in july. I need to know the quantity for each item so i won't buy too much or too little. The menu is, chicken,roast beef,turkey, macaroni and cheese,string beans spaghetti,mashed potatoes & gravy,baked beans, potatoe salad. Ellen any information you can give would be greatly appreciated. |

When chicken is served as part of a multi entree meal, I allow just 1 piece per person, which is 8-9 people per 3 pound chicken (depends how you cut the chicken). PLUS 2 pounds raw boneless beef for each 5 people PLUS look at the turkey yield table and end up with 3 ounces cooked ready to eat per person. Everything else is covered in the plan for 100 tables. If you post an estimate, I will check it for you. |
