Sears Kenmore Elite Oven - tin foil stuck

04/05/09 		We have a new oven and put tin foil on the bottom to catch the drips while cooking. It's now stuck to the bottom of the oven. Is there anyway to remove it?

04/05/09 		Depends on whether it is stuck with grease or dripping, or melted on. You can use a no lye oven cleaner for grease or dripping, peel off what you can, work the rest under wear gloves. If it is melted, you turn the oven on very low (like 150)and scrape scrape scrape with gentle persistence, not lifting the enamel coating on the surface.

If you have tried the self cleaning cycle, I have no help for you.

Check the owner's manual, I think they say, "no foil".
