We are anticipating about 250 people for my son's graduation party on May 1. There aren't any other parties that night so most people will eat. Here's what I have planned. Will it be enough? Suggestions for improvement?
Brisket - 50 lbs. |

Nice menu but not enough if you really expect 250.
Brisket - 50 lbs.- need 60 pounds cooked weight, which is about 80 raw |

I'm planning my sons Graduation Party .I'm guessing 250 guests. He wants sloppy joes , greenbean casserole , chessey hashbrowns , Cakewha do I need for the amounts of each? Can you help me |

Angie on this site there are recipes for sloppy joes for 100, better green bean casserole for 60, cheesy potatoes for 100, and cutting tables for cake slices in various sizes. Look at the recipes and do your math, then if you want me to check them, post your estimates and I will check them for you. |

We will be serving slice ham and smoked turkey sandwiches as part of our graduation party- we are expecting anywhere from 200-300 people. Can you tell me how much meat I might need? |

Too big a range. You have to plan for the most expected which appears to be 300. See the sandwich event page and plan for 200 ham people and 150 turkey people (yes you need extra- when several choices are offered people eat more, and some of each). Make it a bar where they make their own- less waste and less used. You also need cheese and condiments- see the same page. Also add a big bowl of egg salad and a big bowl of swirled peanut butter and jam- there will be non-meat eaters in a crowd that size. |
