planning a picnic on the sunday after my sons wedding wedding. cooking pulled pork. planning on going to gordon food service for the potato salad, cole slaw, bake beans and tossed salad. my question is how much of each should i purchase for a guest number 120+. someone also suggested a dessert. i didnt even think about that.my thought was the weeding is sat. we will all be up late and then start to head home on sunday but first stopping by for a quick bite to eat. how much meat and sides should i buy?

Hi, Rose,

I just put the picnic sides quantity list up on the plan for 100 page at the bottom. You need 1 1/4 times the amount for 100.

For the meat, you need 2 pounds raw boneless shoulder for each 5 persons or 6 ounces cooked per person, plus rolls, and see the sandwich event page for condiments, sauce/ ketchup, onions, lettuce pickles, etc.

I would definitely serve dessert. Two small pieces per person, coookies or bars, would be fine. I would also have iced tea and coffee.

By the way, if there are kids or vegetarians, a big bowl of swirled peanut butter and jelly or peanut butter and nutella might be appreciated.
