cooking for 250 people

05/03/09 		Sal, you need a lot more than those three items; this is a VERY large party to self-cater. Please read my article under "wedding dinners" on the buttons at the top of the main cook talk page. You need help, freezer and refrigerator space and a commercial type kitchen to pull it off safely.

That said, I would use, 8-10 pounds dried beans, 8 pounds dry rice and 50 pounds lean boneless raw beef for each 100 people. The potato and taco bar article has a lot about all the trimmings and sides (sour cream, grated cheese, etc.)

05/10/09 		See the spaghetti/ lotsa pasta page spaghetti dinner for 50-60. Make 4 1/2 to 5 times the amounts.
