They are discussed on the tivoli thread and so far people seem to like them.

This has happened to almost everyone who has written. You may want to take it back.

yes, it's either a white film or a rainbow colored look of a finish that's been scrubbed off. i bought my set at tj maxx too. i shoulda known the price was too good to be true. i have an induction cooker and was going to get the highly recommended All Clad. But even at TJ the price was so high! still, i assume it's much better made than the sariette brand.

Yes, white/rainbow and can't get it to come off so far. I like the weight of the pans -- they seem to be well made, (full set from TJ Maxx as well) but am annoyed with them not looking clean. Has anyone tried Bar Keeper's Friend or something like it to see if that will work?

These are a porcelain coated pan, I would not use an abrasive cleaner if the marks are not coming off; it could damage the finish permanently.

I tried Barkeeper's Friend and all my pans came clean! This worked for the rainbow/white 'stains' -- no problem!

Just purchased 4 pans from TJ Maxx. They are 18/8 stainless with the colored sides/handles. I purchased the 4 pans, each one a different color - SO cool. I prefer my old cast iron skillet for frying, but needed to replace my 51-year-old !!! Revere Ware pans. I also prefer the stainless over the non-stick - feel like it is a healthier choice. Bought all 4 for just over$60. They're so "pretty" I may hand wash them for a while..then experiment with the dishwasher....Then will probably wash on top shelf.

I just bought a Sarriette SS, inside and out,10 in frypan (made in china, it says) at TJ Max. It was on sale for $11. Used it twicw and seems to heat and clean well. I would like to find more, but there were only two at the store when I bought mine. Any info on where to buy would be helpful.

I bought 6 Sarriette pans from TJMax, and I loved them. They are easy to clean, work very well on electric cooktop and they have an amazing design. I am looking for a tea kettle to complement my set. It is very hard to find on the internet. If anybody finds any piece of the Sarriette Set, please inform us( me).
Thank you

How to get a stain caused by frying bacon in the 10" copper clad fry pan - I tried heating soap and also heating baking soda - pretty good, but cannot get all of the stain out. Can I use a metal polish?

Usually, the rainbow effect from overheating is not fully removeable.

I bought the 12" Sariette skillet with copper bottom at TJ Maxx and love the way it cooks, but have seen the whiting on the bottom as well (washing by hand). Knockoff?? I'd be more upset if I'd paid $48 and not the $24 TJM price, but in all it's a really nice pan and I've even since picked up the 10" skillet.

Enameled pans are not recopmmended for smooth tops. People use them anyway.

I heard you can use the Sariette skillet with the glass top in the oven. Has anyone done this? It does not say oven proof.

The Sarriette label says oven safe to 400 degrees. The white film on the inside botton of stainless steel pans is normal. You can use Barkeepers friend and it cleans off beautifully. The handle is silicone and is very comfortable. On't know about the dishwasher with silicone handles

Live in SC but bought 12inch skillet of Sarriette SS 18/8 with cover in Florida and just love it. I have only non-stick at the moment but switching to stainless. The 18/8 is slightly not as good nor safe as 18/10 I have been told but I have used this one over and over up to 400 degrees in oven and this one pan sold it for me. I really sprayed it good with can of non-stick spray and also oiled the bottom. Cooked pork chops, hamburger, bacon and sausage and it all washes clean. If you deglaze the plan (cooking porkchops) it just washes out clean. Very, very pleased with it. Just can't seem to find any more pieces at TJM where I bought it. Sold for $29.99. If I could find a whole set of this I would purchase it in a minute. Just as good as Circulon II which I have used but a lot cheaper. The 312 stainless is supposed to be the best but the stores do not show that on their label, so a lot is really cheap.

Like everyone else, I found two pots at TJMAxx and loved them, but can't find any more. I actually gave them to my mom when I moved and want to get a whole set for myself.

I have a set of those pans since 1968--- it is now 2017 and they look like new ! I love them ! I am sure I will cook in them til I die ! I would love to get a set for my daughter but I am afraid to send for them-- I don't trust ordering from another country. I will have to go check at TJMax and see if they get them in.

If you put their name on the internet for these pans you will get the company that makes them . It isn't USA and they are cheap ; but be careful
