Planning food for my daughters up coming wedding(Oct). On a tight budget so I was thinking of serving soup, salads and sandwiches. veggie/dip trays. Could you please recommend how many differnt soups and salads and how much I should have. there will be 75-90 people. Thank you! |

How many kinds of soups & salads should I have Two or three great soups are a fine choice for this. What about a seafood gumbo or beefy veggie/wedding soup and a creamy artichoke, broccoli or potato cheese soup? Four beautiful salads, each for 1/3 of a hundred, would be just right. Then you want wonderful bread with soft real butter and cheese spreads. Deviled eggs are very nice with this meal. Instead of regular veggies, consider a relish tray, and a melon boat or fruit tray is very do-able for this size group. |

How many kinds of soups & salads should I have It depends on the size of the pieces, see the beef roasting table in the Big Pots section. |
