hello,
I am getting married next year and am having the meal catered. However, the light luncheon in the evening I was hoping to do myself to save some money. I was planning on serving lunch meat, buns, cheese tray, veggie tray and a pickle tray.
Can you tell me how much I'd need for 150 guests max. The luncheon food wouldn't be put out until around 1030-11 pm. Dinner would be served around 5-530pm
Thanks,
ellen

Ah, this is an interesting way to do it. You have chosen a fairly expensive snack. If you are serving a full dinner, have you considered doing a dessert buffet instead of a whole (even if light) meal? All kinds of bars and cookies can be madeup t6o 6 months ahead and frozen, mini quiches and pizza bites if you want a savory addition,

If you are set on doing the sandwiches, look at the sandwich event page for very specific guidance for 100, and plan for 1 1/2 times that amount. Includes condiments. I would do twice the relish tray at the top of the veggie tray page. And consider fruit trays and cookie trays instead of veggies; , more popular this time of night. I would also add chips and dips.
