I have recently broken the smallest saucepan from a set of three - I still have the lid !! They are white table to oven casserole/saucepans. Any idea who can supply these - made in France by Arc international. I live in Paphos Cyprus in the Meditterean. |
ellen 09/09/09 |
These sound like our corning ware sauce pans. What size is it, and is it round or square? |
ellen 09/09/09 |
If you do a google search, using ARCOFLAM as well as ACROFLAM, you will see there are a variety of sales points available for these, some European. |
Timothy 09/29/09 |
There are a couple of Ebay/UK sites that ae selling Arcoflam, but shipping international is costly. Arcoflam discontinued many of its smaller saucepans in 2007. So, happy hunting. I live in Minnesota, USA. (I am searching also.) |
Wendy 12/01/09 |
I owned one round casserole dish by Arcoflam. It was a favorite until it accidentally broke. I haven't found anything comparable because it was attractive, lightweight, easy to clean. Suggestions? |
ellen 12/01/09 |
arcoflam does show up on EBay occasionally |
Margie 01/10/10 |
Can someone tell me how to work the Arcoflam removable handles? I put one on my pot and cannot get it off. There is a little red push button on it. I am afraid to try anything too forcefully for fear of breaking the lovely and treasured pot. I had never before used the handle and decided to do so - and ended up in a mess! When I got it there were no instructions or anything with it. I hope someone can help me. Thank you. |
david mills 01/27/10 |
you need to press the button but make sure saucepan is on a secure surface, they just un-clip |
david mills 01/27/10 |
forgot to mention do not grip handle tightly as this will prevent spring lever from releasing |
ellen 01/27/10 |
Thanks, David! |

I can see I am not the only one looking for Arcoflam products. They've always been my favourite brand. I was fortunate enough to buy what I was told to be the last pieces that were left in the whole country (Canada ). I thought the salesman was joking and I only bought what I actually needed at the time: two pots and two saucepans. Now I know he was speaking the truth and I am sorry I did not buy everything he had left. Not only I am looking desesperately for anything with the Arcoflam logo on it, but I have been going to I do onot fkow how many stores in France together with three of my French girlfriends... So far, no luck.Would canyone advise me if such treasures are found anywhere? I,Ll do the same if I come across anything bearing that name. THANKS. |
felinda 06/18/10 |
Could you please tell how do we call someone who sells saucepans? |
ellen 06/19/10 |
No, sorry. Try a google search on the brand you want. |

It's a shame with so many poeple wanting the acroflam pots, that someoen doesn't re-invent them. I am vision imapaired and love the whilte inside cos I can see the food in it very cleraly. Of course I love their other features as well. I'm in NZ and no one makes things like that hear. I have seen whitle dishes here, but no handles on them. My 8.5" pot has lost it's whitle non-stick surface on the bottom - does anyone know if these can be re-surfaced? from Kathryn |
ellen 05/11/11 |
Wish I could be more help- some of the enaled cookware is white inside, but not non-stick. I don't know of any re-surfacers. |

kathryn 08/24/11 |
I emailed Janine and believe she had already sold them. if you find any, let me know too. |
ellen 08/24/11 |
Tivoli, which is made in China, has a white enamel interior. It is not fully non-stick, but if treated kindly (medium high heat or lower, a little oil or PAM/non-stick spray) provide the white cooking surface some readers prefer. |
Pauline 09/12/11 |
Hi. Am wondering if these can be used on ceramic cooktops or just the coils? I am told it can be used on gas but mine is a ceramic cooktop. Thanks in advise for your advise. |
ellen 09/12/11 |
Presently, most ceramic top makers suggest not using the ceramic pans on the tops, as the pans do not conduct heat like the metal pans do. |
gill griffith 11/02/11 |
Please can you help. Elderly Aunt has died. I now have two pots, making saucepans with one handle. Which hobs can I use them on. Mine is ceramic. |

It's made in France by ARC International from vitro-ceramic, the generic term for Corning Pyroceram. www.arc-international.com, www.shopworldkitchen.com and www.worldkitchen.co.uk |

Acroflam Cookware Yes, I also have some ArcoFlam pieces, and I love them to death, love the fact that you can bring them to the table minus the handle, as serveware. Having a double duty, and not having to take food out of a cook pot and put it in a serving dish is the best thing ever!! And if I could find any ArcoFlam, I'd grab it fast! |
Helen 11/05/13 |
Hi there, am looking for the handle for an ArcoFlam 6 inch saucepan - just in case anyone has broken theirs but still has the handle? Or does anyone know where to get one please? I am in Wellington NZ and can be contacted on possumcombes@gmail.com I also have a daughter in LA and family and friends in Australia, in case anyone in other countries can help? Thanks!! |
ellen 11/05/13 |
Helen, these show up on EBay regularly- and not too expensive. |
Deb 12/12/13 |
Hi, I have some arcoflam pans and casseroles for sale if anyone is interested. I'm in the UK. They belonged to my mom, who recently died. Gina Hadaway 04/14/14 |
I loaned my sister my Arcoflam, 25 years ago, promising to return it when I had a home and a nice kitchen. She no longer knows where it is, I found the large fryer at my Mom's and 6 handles and 2 large lids at my nephews. I do not have my pots anymore and I am so sad, I really wanted it back for my new kitchen makeover. Never loan anything to a sister that does not have enough responsibility to take care of your items, and call you a indian-giver when you ask for it back. I would love a few pots. Please let me know where to find them if anyone knows. Thank you. |
ellen 04/14/14 |
Gina, there isn't a pot in the world worth losing a sister over. That said, you can still find these vintage on EBay from time to time. It is also currently being made in France by ARC, International; purveyors of other ARC-centric glassware goods such as Cristal d'Arques (crystal), Luminarc (transparent), Arcoroc (tempered) & Arcopal (opal) and yes, Arcoflam (vitroceram) cookware. |
Biby 08/06/14 |
Can anyone advise please how to remove burned on food from one of my Arcoflam saucepans. Can I use stainless seel wool on them as nothing has shifted it. None of the instructions with the pots are in English so no advice there. Many thanks. |
ellen 08/06/14 |
Bad luck, and steel wool will scratch pans. Have you tried a half cup baking soda, fill with water, and simmer an hour or two? Also consider several applications of Dawn power scrubber- can help on some. |
Liana 09/30/14 |
I have Arcoflam Trianon that is brand new and in boxes still that I have not used. I have a26cm frying pan, 18cm saucepan with lid,12cm saucepan with lid and a 14cm saucepan with lid, these come with plastic caps. I have had these for years and not used them. How much are they worth if I put them on Ebay? |
ellen 09/30/14 |
If you will look on EBay you can get a range of prices. Decide whether to include shipping- not cheap for this set. |
DAVBID JACKSON 10/30/14 |
I need to replace a 6" ACROFLAM white saucepan with detachable hsandle. PLEASE can you help? |
ellen 10/30/14 |
Sounds like you are in trouble! The only suggestion I have is, look on EBay. It can be listed under arcoflam, princess house nouveau, and a similar pan is offered as corning fry pan |
David 11/24/14 |
I have a number of Arcoflam pots that have chips on the glass lids that continue to "sliver". Is there any place to get replacement lids? |
ellen 11/24/14 |
As above, you can actually sometimes find them on EBay. |
Linda 11/28/14 |
Pyroflam!!! Found it... Argos, Amazon, loads of places :) Thank you Thank you Thank you |
Jocelyn 12/10/14 |
I am in New Zealand & am looking for a white arcoflam, or corning ware saucepan 15 or 16cm with a handle & a clear glass lid. I occasionally see one on Trade Me, but they are priced out of this world. I did see a set at a reasonable price, but while I was tossing up if I would buy the whole set, someone else snapped it up on 'Buy Now', wise person! Does anyone out there have such a saucepan please? You can contact me - jocelyn.piesse@xtra.co.nz |
Wendy 12/13/14 |
Hi. Have acquired Acroflam pot set and casserole. Are these treated as normal pots? Read somewhere that can roast potatoes on hob with no need of water. Unable to find out much about how to use them. Would appreciate direction of where I can obtain this information. Thanks |
ellen 12/13/14 |
These are casseroles. The new ones are not recommended for glass top stoves. Use heat at medium high or lower heat, NEVER cook with them dry, and they ate terrible for any kind of frying or sauteing. |
Herman 03/11/15 |
Arcoflam pot Hi, my sister was so kind to give me her Arcoflam pot and pan set she bought 21 years ago, they are like new. The courier company mishandled the box and broke the Pot with a nr 7 on the bottom, it is the second smallest pot in the set. It seems that these sets are scares in South Africa, any ideas, I googled ARC int, but didn't get any results, checking ebay as well |
ellen 03/12/15 |
Good luck with your search, you are already doing all I know to recommend. |
Kellie 03/17/15 |
Hi, could you please tell me does one handle fit all pots. I have inherited a saucepan which is 16 - 17 cm in diameter,(holds 1 1/2 liters) but unfortunately it came with no handle. I would love to be able to use this as a saucepan. I have seen handles for sale but do not want to purchase in case it does not fit. |
Rutendo 11/08/15 |
Hi I inherited a set of glass arcoflam pots and pans from my mum and my stuff was moved in my absence and all but one are now broken I'd like to replace them I liked them in the brown they were in and also just the fact that I cud see everything as it cooked... Any idea where I can get them the arcoflam doesn't seem to exist anymore anyone who can help with contacts or something for the manufacturer? Or selling theirs... These pots and saucepens were so elegant I thought and I liked the idea of a casserole dish which could also be used as spot on gas or electric stove.... Though I'd never tried them in the microwave.... Could one use them in the microwave too...? Anyway I just really need those pots my heart is bleeding ryt now... I'm prepared to ship them in from anywhere in the world... I'm in Botswana Africa... Please help.... |
ellen 11/08/15 |
Rutendo, as discussed in this thread, they show up on EBay from time to time. Hi, I have a virtually a new entire set, I think its complete, including the Fry pan with the huge bubble/dome lid! and a most of another set that has had moderate use, also including the Fry pan with the huge bubble/dome lid! I'm a Chef, and I have collected a lot of pot-ware and I find that I use my copper and Enameled cast iron and heavy stainless the most, I find myself in the position of needing to downsize for an upcoming move back to the South Island, its a year away , so I'm stating with these ! because they are so cool ! as you all know , you can use the same pot for virtually any type of cooking. I am going to put them on trademe soon, maybe two weeks time. But I came across this forum a minuet ago and thought one of you may be keen, It would have to be a pick up, I wouldn't send them, I'm In Palmy Unfortunately I cant upload a pic on this forum, any ideas ? as to where I could put one up. |
Suzan 11/26/15 |
I have a set of 3 new saucepans with glass lids and plastic lids plus handles, all in original packing. I will be posting on ebay.co.uk soon. Or you can contact me at sgk87@live.co.uk |

Acroflam Saucepans and vitroflam I have two Arcoflam saucepans and two frying pans. I find them excellent. I come to learn from Internet that vitroflam has replaced Arcoflam. So what is the difference if any between Arcoflam, Vitroflam, Pyroflam, Corningware, Visions? |

Gill 02/14/16 |
Have just come across this forum. I thought I was the only person in the world who appreciates arcoflam. I have 3 saucepans with glass lids, detachable handles, an 8"by 8" square casserole (withglass lid) a10"flan dish and an oval dish not marked which looks like arcoflam but is it? All the saucepans have been in daily use for more than 30 years and are still a delight even though no longer pristine. |
Jocelyn 02/28/16 |
Hello Stevo I am interested in one of your arcoflam pots, a medium sized one with a handle, if you still have them. I live in NZ, North Island. Please contact me if you have one available. |

Can it be used on electric coil hot plates and in the oven as well??? It does have place for the handle as well, Hope you can help. june Australia |
ellen 09/03/17 |
June this sounds like a standard pan, and they are stove and oven safe. |
Gill 01/02/18 |
I posted a message here on 2/4/16 but no answer as yet! Briefly does all arcoflam have the well known trademark on the base or were some pieces made without it? The query is in connection with a flan dish and a pie dish. They look the same as all my other arcoflam except that the pattern is not wavy but straight--and no trademark. |
ellen 01/02/18 |
Hi, Gill, II guess neither I nor any of my readers knows the answer! There are knock offs of Arcoflam, I would use the pan iin the oven but not on the stove top. |
Shauna 02/13/18 |
I just got 2 sauce pans at a thrift store, I was going to use them for food and water dishes for my cats. After I got home I started reserching the brand, Did I stumble on a gem? |

Is Acroflam the same thing as Princess House ceramic cookware? I have a few PH pieces that I just Love. I use them on the stovetop, oven and microwave- hoping they are okay to be used in the microwave. I see PH pieces on eBay. Just wondering if they are the same as Acroflam. Thank you Ellen! |
ellen 06/05/18 |
Similar. Don't know if they are the same manufacturer. |
Denise Hamill 02/21/19 |

Hard to find. Do check EBay. |
barry 04/30/20 |
I have been given a perfect white Arcoflam casserole dish with a clear matching lid (probably about 10 or more years old). On the underneath it says Arcoflam, France and shows four symbols which look like they represent gas hob / electric hob / oven & ?? another oven type. So, I am just trying to confirm - do you think this means it is safe to use this on a gas hob?? I'm just checking as I don't want it to explode! Anyone else used dish on a gas flame hob? |
barry 04/30/20 |
re above post, I should mention it is some kind of ceramic dish. |
ellen 04/30/20 |
They are supposed to be safe on all these heat sources. I heat ever so gently- they are old. |
Barry 04/30/20 |
Maybe I'll chance it soon on a low to medium heat, nothing higher. Just cook things long and slow.......Thanks for advice |
barry 05/04/20 |
All OK - I put some water in, put on a low-medium flame for 30 minute and all was OK. No cracks, no explosions! Thanx again. |
Mike 06/13/20 |

I have a 5 pc set of ARCOFLAM pans. Small 5 1/2 wide 3” deep 7 “ wide. 3” deep with side handles 7” wide. Almost 4 “ deep w handle Lid that fits the 7” pans. Handle is Maroon Brown Pans are White with Blue iris design with some green and yellow . I recurved these fir a wedding gift in 1986. They were used very little maybe 5 times at most. (Just because they were too pretty for everyday use ). They are in great condition ! Oh and I don’t know how to use the handle so it is in the biggest pan . If anyone is interested in buying them , I’m ready to part with them . |

I have been using the princess house nouveau for about 25 years. I recently purchases the 1 and 1.5 quart off ebay. One of the handles is refusing to release. Any suggestions? |
