My husband coaches 7th and 8th grade boys football and wants to have a party for them and their parents. He has 27 kids total, but not sure how many parents will come. I was planning on making baked ziti, tossed salad and italian bread. How much do you think I will need to make? |

Betty, I am unsure how to help you without some kind of estimate. The boys will eat about 1.2 what an adult will eat. Maybe you could figure on 1 parent per person? Figure about 2/3 the amount for 100 (60-65)? You could use use the amounts in the spaghetti dinner for 50-60 at the bottom of the spaghetti/ lotsa pasta page. |

A friend is helping out to make baked ziti for an event to feed 500 homeless people. She needs to know how much pasta to make the baked ziti. How many pounds or boxes of pasta will she need? |

Go to the sausage mozzarella bake on the plan for 100 page. With the meat it feeds about 120 and you would need 4 times the amounts for 500 people. Without the meat, it feeds about 100 and you would need 5 times the amounts. You would substitute ricotta by weight for part of the mozzarella. |

Ella, all these items are covered in the plan for 100 tables or the appetizer tables. It is not clear from your note whether you want to serve these all at the same time or each one as a main courseseparately. If all together, you need to tell me the type of event (dinner, cocktail party, etc), time of day, and length of the party. |
