Peanut Butter Fudge with Karo syrup and vinegar

Could this be a Christmas effort? These easy recipe relies on marshmallow cream and condensed milk to shorten cooking time and reduce the possibility of not hardening. There are MANY
peanut butter fudge variations-

4 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. white karo syrup
1 c. condensed milk
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

Boil uncovered over medium heat until it reaches a softball stage, stirring enough to prevent sticking to the bottom or scorching. I suggest a candy thermometer! Remove from heat and add:

1 (12oz) jar of marshmallow cream
1/3- 1/2 cup peanut butter, crunchy, creamy or mixed

Beat hard until it blends and loses its gloss. Pour into buttered 9x9 dish and cool. You may stir in mini chocolate chips or sprinkle the top with chopped roasted peanuts.
