I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, such as main dishes or sandwiches that we could make for our junior high lunches. We serve about 400 kids a day. We have a lot of good recipes but are looking for something different. We like to keep the amount in dish recipes to about 25 servings, to try them out. As for sandwiches we have tried grilled(baked) cheese,turkey ruebens, meatball subs etc. Can anyone give us some other ideas? thanks

You have asked a question that is very dear to my heart- good food for kids is very important to me. When we dumb down our children's food expectations, we're opening the door for obesity and other health problems. School lunches are a place to gently introduce new foods- especially likely to be successful if you could coordinate with social science and english teachers about special country/ regional introductions.
