Hello, I've just recently discovered this site and am still poking about so please forgive me if my query is a duplication. I am vegetarian and my partner is practically one, too (as I do most of the cooking!) I am interested in finding a quailty OAMC vegetarian cookbook. Online searches haven't yielded much. Am wondering whether anyone can recommend any titles? Thanks for the thought. Be well, gina |

What does OAMC stand for? |

Hi, Judy, It stands for "Once A Month Cooking", which is also called feeding the freezer, batch cooking, plan cooking. Basically, learning to cook freezable foods in larger amounts so you can go to your freezer instead of McDonalds on those busy days. It saves a :OT of time and money, and usually improves nutrition in the household, too. Ellen |

I, too, would love a OAMC cookbook that is low fat to meet Dean Ornish's heart disease reversal plan and also gluten free! I need help making simple recipes that we can freeze ahead of time. By the way, just enjoyed a lovely Friday evening on your site. Thanks for your integrity. |
