What quantities do I need for grad party of 150 - lots of teens but they will probably be party-hopping.

Jennifer, how much they eat depends in part on whether it is 2-5 pm or 6-9. If it is over a mealtime, use the tables to plan for 125 ( 1 1/4 times the amounts for 100). Mid afternoon, less. Also, if it is mostly teens, I would skip the beer. The adults can do without and if a teen leaves the party and gets picked up for a dui, you the host are legally liable in most states. Work up an estimate, post it, and I will be happy to help with the rest. |

The party is from 2-6 in the afternoon. These are my estimates using the tables and calculating for 125.
Menu
Potato Salad 22 lbs potatoes (2.25 gal salad)
Coleslaw 30 lbs cabbage/3 qts dressing
Fruit Trays 5 cantaloupe Baked Beans 4.5 gal. Cake 2.5 sheet cakes
Pop 125 cans |

Looks pretty good! You are long on baked beans- about 3 1/2 OK; and slaw, 25 pounds plenty. Other than that, probably not much leftover, and you will only make about 160 sandwiches with that much meat. Don't forget plenty of ice if you want the tea and lemonade to be popular. |

Thanks much. I'm thinking I should up the meat to around 55-60 lbs total. If we get 150 people, I probably need more than 160 sandwiches. If I figure about 4 sandwiches per pound then 60 pounds of meat would give me 240 sandwiches. Does that sound about right or too much? |

Sounds OK and it does freeze after. |

serving 300 people for graduation party doing fruit strawberries, grapes, and blueberries on sticks how much fruit do I need |

2-3 sticks each, depending on what else is served. Consider doing fruit trays with some sticks for garnish- it's an awful lot easier. |
