Hello, what a great site. I have a group of 65 to help cater for. Decision yet to be made on a hearty beef stew or beef bourguignon ... need help with amounts of ingredients. tia |

I would say, depends on the event and crowd. The beef b. takes more meat, requires wine (thus a little more expensive), is more upscale, probably you want different side dishes. Both can be made ahead and are actually better reheated. You will want about 25 pounds boneless beef for stew, 30 for the beef. |

Hi Ellen. Yes bb more upscale, the stew more practical for the event. Thanks for quick reply. I cn go from here with the 25 pound amount to work with :) |
