I need to prepare ham for 250 person buffet. I am not nor do I have a carver. What is the best way to serve it and how many pounds should I serve? There will also be a choice of a chicken entree mashed potatoes, tossed salad, and fruit salad. |

It sounds like presliced ham or spiral sliced whole ham might be the way to go. With the chicken, you need to allow 4 ounces ready to eat per person, 5 ounces if they are heavy eaters or there are not several heavy sides, as there are not in this menu. |
