appetizers before meal Hi I am preparing a meal for a southern ladies club (about 15 ladies). The meal will consist of baked chicken, dressing, macaroni & cheese, grape salad, & a rice medely. I will also be preparing appetizers before the meal. Can you make some appetizer suggestions? Thank you so much for your help |

Sounds like the grandmother's Tuesday Club, though they would probably substitute scalloped summer squash or tomatoes for one of the starches. This is a fairly heavy meal, I would go light with the appetizers. They liked things like cheese straws, tiny quiches, and a deluxe fruit plate, which would be plenty before this meal. |
