I am having a wedding reception of approx. 150 people and we are serving Beef on Weck, salt potatoes and rigatoni. Approx how much beef? Potatoes? and Rigatoni? |

It depends on whether it is plated or buffet service. You need about 45 pounds ready to eat beef; 50 of potatoes; 12-14 pounds dry pasta (12-14 9x13 dishes cooked). Add about 10% if it is self serve. |

The beef is the only meat that will be served as a buffet style dinner reception. Are you sure that'll be enough? |

OK. The most you would need, an that is everyone eats lots (with just a big meat serving and no bread) and you do not use a person to serve the meat, is about 70 pounds cooked. So you can decide where between the two amounts you want to land. |
