My family and I are catering my wedding reception next weekend and I am going shopping this weekend, and want to make sure I am buying a good amount of food. We are feeding about 150 people. Here goes,
-Pulled BBQ Pork (25 pounds) from a friends restaurant.
-5 pounds of hamburger, 5 pounds of noodles for mostaccioli.
-6 pounds of little smokeys
-2 wal-mart sandwiches trays (feeding 25 people a piece) also a pre made ordered veggie tray
-6 heads of lettuce
-6 bags of chips
-12 pounds of potato salad watermelons with grapes mixed in (4 bags)
-17 bags of dollar rolls with at 12 per bag.
Also I don't know what to do about the drinks.
Please let me know what everyone thinks.

Liz, this does not look like enough food for 150 people to me. At 5:00 people will want enough food for dinner, and this isn't.
-Pulled BBQ Pork (25 pounds) from a friends restaurant.
I would do at least 35
-5 pounds of hamburger, 5 pounds of noodles for mostaccioli.
need at least 10 pounds each, I would probably do 12
-6 pounds of little smokeys
either skip or allow 20 pounds
-2 wal-mart sandwiches trays (feeding 25 people a piece)
OK
a pre made ordered veggie tray
You need enough for about 100 people
-6 heads of lettuce
If this is for salad, you need 16-20 pounds, see the plan for 100 table
-6 bags of chips
You need at least 10 pounds
-12 pounds of potato salad
I allow 4 gallons per 100, with the mostaciolli, you could do 3 per 100. 1 gallon weighs about 8 pounds
watermelons with grapes mixed in (4 bags)
You need 1 pound per 6-8 people
-17 bags of dollar rolls with at 12 per bag
OK
