Burning

09/14/10 		Is there anything that you can put on the ceramic cookstove tops, to prevent burning, l find when l am making a stew, chili, soups etc, that require hours of low temps, everything sticks to the bottom of the pot, not a happy cook when that happens. With the coil rings on stovetop, l would put down a cookie cooler, rack, and never would a thing stick to my pot, can this be used on the ceramic stove tops, anyone help me please!!

09/14/10 		No; anything you put between the pot and the burner will interfere with heating the pan. These burners cool off slowly, be careful you are not turning it up too high, such as for browning; or move to a new burner on the lowest setting for the simmer.
