I am preparing food for an open house (not sure how many will show) from 2-4pm on a Sunday. Plan to have vegetable trays and cheese dips with crackers etc. How much should I fix?
Also, Cooking dinner for 85 people, pasta bar with 2 pasta's and sauces to include alfredo, marinara and a spicy sauce. I will have meatballs and chicken, garlic bread and salad. How much should I cook of each?

You need at least 2 ounces reday to eat vegetable per person and 1 cup veggie dip for 4-5. 3 ounces cheese per person. 1-2 ounces crackers. Plus some other foods?

1 See the spaghetti dinner for 50-60 at the bottom of the pasta page as the start for the quantities
pasta bar with 2 pasta's- 1 3/4 times the amount for 1 meal- split between the 2 types
sauces to include alfredo, marinara and a spicy sauce. 2/3 of each, using the amount for 1 sauce is the guide. People take more when there is a choice.
meatballs- 1 pound ready to eat per 5
chicken- 1 piece per person plus 10%
garlic bread- 1 3/4 times the amount for 1 meal
salad- 1 3/4 times the amount for 1 meal
