I just bought a Le Crueset silicone heart muffin pan. I seasoned it the first time with Pam spray (as directed) and my muffins were fine except that I overfilled the pan and I don't like the taste of pam spray on the bottoms of my muffs. Okay, so according to the directions I don't have to oil the pan again. I cook my next batch of muffins (blueberry) and they stick in the pan. Any ideas here? Do I need to grease this "non-stick" silicone pan before use? Any suggestions on an easy greasing method other than Pam? I bought the muffin pan because I need to buy three new loaf pans. I was considering silicone but thought I would get some experience with it first with muffins to see if I like it. I do like that cute heart shape... Any opinions on what kind of loaf pan to buy for yeast and quick breads? Thanks in advance, Lisa |

Blueberry sticks no matter what, season each time. There are spray regular oils that taste better than PAM, maybe one of these woul;d work for you. Ellen |

Thanks. I had no idea blueberry had such a sticky reputation. I'm going to try a baking spray with flour. What do you think of silicone pans for baking bread? Any silicone experience? Lisa |

Thank you for the tip. I've tried Pam with flour since and it has worked well. Lisa |
