Hi, My recipe calls for baking soda which I'm out of, but have plenty of baking powder. Can I substitute the baking soda for the baking powder? Help! Toni |

Baking soda & baking powder You use approximately 3/4 the amount; too much gives a soapy taste to baked goods. But don't substitute soda for powder, it doesn't go the other direction. Ellen |
