Taco meat for 40 people

11/10/10 		We are having a party at work for 40 people approximately. We want to serve Tacos and shredded chichen, for sandwiches, in crock pots. How much Taco meat should be in the crock pot for that many people?

11/10/10 		With the chicken also, 7 pounds regular or 6 pounds lean should be plenty.

11/14/10 		probably 2 ounces per taco is plenty , but to be safe, with anything like this, in advance, i make a little, spoon it into a taco, then take it out and weigh it...so 2 ounces times 40 is 80 oz divided by 16 is 5...5lbs cooked filling is your answer
