How many will actually show up?

Are there any statistics to indicate how many I can expect to actually show up if I Invite X number of people to a BBQ?

11/17/10 		Nope, sorry; it depends on your region, the event, time slot, competing events, etc. The larger the invitation list, the harder it is to estimate.

11/17/10 		That said, if you send out the invitations 6-8 weeks in advance, about 85% will show up; the old rule of thumb was, you can invite about 10% more than the site will hold.
