Hi Ellen, I have a Whirlpool ceramic cooktop. I LOVE it -- however, recently some fudge splatter caused a black burn mark. The Maytag store suggested I use the razor, which I did. It didn't remove the black spot, instead it created a bigger mark (seemed to take the actual surface grey colour off). Recently, I had another burn mark caused by an oven mitt being passed over a hot element in error. I used the white ceramic stovetop cleaner and let it sit a while, it made it worse. I will try the MAAS polish indicated on your tips website, but do you have any other suggestions. Looks terrible !! Thank you |

You might read the various threads, there are more ideas. Don't cook on the burner until it is clean. |
