Cooking with Glucosamine

Has anyone tried cooking with Glucosamine? I was hoping to find any recipes that include a glucosamine supplement.

Any help is appreciated!

The chenistry on glucosamine is such that heating it may reduce its effectiveness (break it down) It is only 1-2 caps a day and is expensive enough that you don't want to waste it. At the most, whiz it op in your cold smoothie.

I was hoping to bake it into treats for my older dog. I know there are dog treats out there containing glucosamine and I wanted to make some on my own. I agree about it only being a couple of caps (even smaller for a dog) but it might be easier to get it into her.
Would the liquid break down just as much? I know it is expensive as well.
