I have a banana split pie recipie that calls for 1 egg in the filling. It is not cooked. For safety reasons, I'd rather not use a raw egg, is there anything else I can use? Thanks for all your help. |

There is a terrific product available, Davidson's pasteurized eggs, which are raw eggs that have been gently heat treated to make them completely safe. Taste-wise that is the first choice. Second choice would be something like egg beaters. |
