My mothers group is planning a taco dinner after church on Sunday and I am trying to figure out how much ground beef to make for the tacos. We will have all the fixings (tomatoes, lettuce, onions, sour cream, etc.) and all of that is pretty easy to figure out quantities but I am having trouble with the ground beef. How much is a serving? How many pounds should I cook and season? |

For a regular mixed crowd, you want 1 pound raw for each 4 people seasoned, cooked and drained. Can be made ahead, refrigerated or frozen (thaw ONLY in refrigerator), reheated in a high crockpot or 300 degree Nesco roaster to hold. |

I am responsible for a Taco Bar for 250 youth. Now I know how much Hamburger to plan for. Unfortunately, I am not knowledgeable about any of the amounts of tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, onions, sour cream, etc. Could you please help on this. Thank you in advance! |

I have been goofing off on posting this, I will try to get it loaded this week.
Look here: You will need only about 1/4 cup beans per person since you also have the meat. Some parts of the country use charro, some use refried,k with this many kids you COULD serve both. Keep beans HOT in crock pots or Nesco roasters. |

I am hosting a Cinco de Mayo party and plan on doing a fajita bar. How much chicken and steak should I buy for 42 people? I'm also doing a taco salad, rice, black beans and all the fajita fixings. |
