I plan to have a a roaster full of pulled beef for sandwiches for a graduation. It will all be precooked the day before and be refridgerated. We will need to be gone for 3 hours prior to the graduation party. I am planning to make about 25 lbs of roast into pulled beef. I am wondering what temp, and how long, and if their is any hints to heat this unattended for that length of time. |

I plan to use an electric roaster.... but could use crock pots... and use the electric roaster's buffet stuff to serve it in instead... not sure what would be best... party will start after 8:30pm |

In this case, because 25 pounds is a bit much for one roaster, I would use 3 6 quart crock pots set on low for this job. |

Thank you I will use crockpots. How many pounds would fit into a electic roaster pan? (for future reference) I have never heated anything in the electric roaster- just cooked things. Not sure how evenly it would heat without stirring. |

You have hit the issue- it needs stirring- about 20 pounds meat is my max for these. |
