Good Morning Ellen,

I am doing a mother's day luncheon for 24 ladies and daughters. There are 12 of each of various ages. It will be served at 12:00 p.m. Here is the menu:

Field Greens Salad with Homemade Ranch or Italian Dressing

Spinach & Artichoke Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Vegetarian Pasta-Penne Grilled Baby Vegetables and Oven Roasted Tomato Sauce

Individual Baked Alaska

I don't need recipes, but what I want to know is can I make the baked alaskas the night before and freeze with the meringue on? Then bake them the day of in a 350 degree oven until browned. Or do I bake them hotter?

Nice lady menu. You can't freeze meringue. The baked Alaskas need to be coated and baked for the meal.

Rats! I was hoping I could. Oh well I guess I'll just have to get started early. :)
