Hoping someone remembers a recipe for a cake using a yellow cake mix...you'd prepare the cake as directed..then mix a 'streusel mix'(cinnamon/sugar,etc.)and sprinkle it on top of cake before baking. It used to be printed on the cake mix box a long time ago...sorry, I don't remember the 'brand'. My Aunt really misses this recipe. I tried giving her similar 'versions', but she wants the 'original'. Thanks for any help you can give!

Hi Ellen, I called my Aunt..she remembers baking the cake in a 9x13 inch pan. The yellow cake mix was 'bake as directed' with just the oil, eggs and water..."no other ingredients" and before putting in the oven, this 'streusel mix' was sprinkled on top of batter. She said "some of the topping would sink down into the batter after baking". She thought the cake mix 'brand' might have been Betty Crocker. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to help!
