Ok I am cooking my frist batch of pulled pork in my roaster oven I got 3 roasts in there. My question is when the first batch of meat is done can I pull all the meat out & put the other 2 roasts in the sauce & continue to cook them for 6 hours? |

I am cutting my beef and pork loin into 4 inch chunks then cooking it for several hours before adding my bbq sauce....wondering how many pounds of meat will fit in an 18 quart roaster when its chunked up like that? And how many will it serve? |

About 20 pounds meat, about 50 people. |

Sandy, 35 pounds is too much for one roaster, you need 2. Or make in the regular oven and reheat in the roaster. Yes you can reuse the sauce. You may need to add water to thin the sauce back to starting thickness. Do the recipe just as you would in a regular oven, just be sure you preheat the roaster for 20 minutes before adding the cooking pan/ meat. |
