I'm catering a meal this weekend and one of the items on the menu is breaded aspargus. Would it be ok for me to prep the aspargus and bread it, put it in the fridge overnight and bake the next day? Thanks |

This is a new one on me, it sounds like your basic scalloped veggie. The issue is, moisture release from the asparagus into the breading which might be soggy. I suggest you make a single dish with the overnight method and see if it is acceptable. |

Thank you for your reply. I think we will have asparagus for supper tomorrow night. And panko is what I have for breading. |
