Faberware handle

09/22/11 		We accidently left a coated skillet with a faberware handle on the top rack of the oven while heating a pizza at 400 for 20 min. There was no smoke and we didn't realize this until we'd eaten part of the pizza. Part of the handle had a melted place in it. Is there a danger from eating the pizza that did not touch the pan?

09/22/11 		Polly, this is not my area of expertise, but melting plastic just outgasses, and if the oven and pizza did not smell funny, , take a deep breath and relax. Too bad about the pan, though.
