I have been asked to head up a dinner to serve 1,000 people at the United Methodist Conference on May 30th of this year. I think that a nice pasta dinner would be the most manageable but I am unsure on the quantity of ingredients with this amount of people. Could you advise or set me in the right direction? We are also planning garlic bread or breadsticks and salad. Thank you for any help you could give. |

On the new pages page you will find a link to meals for 500 which has some pasta info. This is WAY beyond the scope of self-catering. You could make 10 times the "mozzarella sausage bake for 125" from the spaghetti page in the big pots section, this would take 10 Nesco roasters to serve, check the electric circuits at the place you will be serving. You can make the recipe with chicken meat, and also, make at least one vegetarian/ meatless. |
