NEVER heat an empty pot- not even "for a minute"

Never put a cold pot from the fridge on an already hot burner

Not good for deep frying or boiling candy to temps above boiling

Don't put cold food in a hot pot or boiling food in a cold one

And last but very important, do not set the outside of the hot pot on a damp/wet counter or towel, and don't drop. even a short distance. All of these can cause the pot to shatter with force!
