Hi Ellen, Hope you are having a joyous Holiday Season. I have an odd question. At my daughter's wedding we are planning to have a small cake serve as part of the table centerpieces. Guests will serve themselves. My event planner thought it might be fun to have the wait staff serve these cakes with a flurish all at once at the beginning of dinner service. Sort of dessert first and starting off the event with a bang. First what is this type of service called? Second how much would wait staff cost for such a service for 225? I was thinking that each could carry two. While this might be amazing I want to have a clue about the cost or feasablility. Thank You |

In my opinion, your event planner took silly pills. You do NOT want cake waiters running around, trying to reach the center of the table, while people are being served dinner. People will enjoy sitting down to the pretty centerpiece with the cake in it. |
