At my daughter's wedding we are planning to have a small cake serve as part of the table centerpieces. Guests will serve themselves.

My event planner thought it might be fun to have the wait staff serve these cakes with a flurish all at once at the beginning of dinner service. Sort of dessert first and starting off the event with a bang.

First what is this type of service called? Second how much would wait staff cost for such a service for 225? I was thinking that each could carry two.

While this might be amazing I want to have a clue about the cost or feasablility.
